Technically, the image has good centering, the depth is quite nice, and the subject is properly focused. Aperture settings seem good, given the bokeh, and the tonal quality left to the image is excellent. I would give the 'technique' rating 4.5 or 5 stars, except that there is something slightly strange with the sharpness of the image- there is some aberration/pixelation around the twig (especially the berries) and some haloing. Whether this is a digital artifact or a result of post-processing sharpening, I've no idea.
That said, there is something inherently fascinating and beautiful about macro images, and this one is well-executed. The fact that these berries appear to be either covered in liquid water or (as it seems to me) frost and ice only adds to the ephemeral element to the image.
Personally, I love it. It seems alien, yet recognizable; something that is familiar, but that I can't quite place. Macro can be very repetitive, and all art is inherently unoriginal (in my opinion)- the key is to find the most fascinating subject matter and use technical excellence to your advantage. Keep up the good work!
